Mall Of Egypt opened only very recently. It was developed by Majid Al Futtaim group. The mall is located on Al Wahat Road in the 6th of October City. People from all over Egypt come to this mall specifically, here is why; the mall features Egypt’s first ever indoor snow park, Ski Egypt. Another special feature in mall of Egypt, which you won’t find in any other mall, is its cinema complex; there are 21 screens, including a special cinema for the little ones, a 4DX, Max, and a gold cinema. The cinemas and the entire mall are very well-maintained. Although not entirely complete, the food court has an appropriate number of selections. Shopping-wise, Mall Of Egypt has lots of big brands that you won’t find in any other mall in Egypt, including the long-awaited, forever 21. However, most of the shops are not open yet. If you visit Mall Of Egypt, especially on weekends, you may catch an entertaining live show that will please your entire family. One week it is live singing and another is a magic show, the options are endless. Other facilities in the Mall include baby changing facilities, prayer rooms, parking spaces, special needs parking, taxi drop-off and pick-up, and wheelchairs.
Mall Of Arabia
Another favorite to the 6th of October residents and many Egyptians is Mall Of Arabia. The mall has a huge outdoor dancing fountain that will just take your breath away. You can have a hearty meal or a cup of coffee in one of the many cafes and restaurants that surround the fountain. If it’s too cold or too hot for you, you can always have your meals indoor, at the food court. The food court of Mall of Arabia is one of the largest ones in Egypt. Mall Of Arabia is a very nice option if you want to watch a movie. The cinema is very clean and well-maintained. For your little ones, take them to Billy Beez, you will thank us later. For the shopping lover in you, you will find a lot of big brands like Zara, Mango, and Gap. We can’t forget the huge hypermarket where you can get your monthly shopping done. The mall opens its doors at 9 am and closes at 11 pm.
Cairo Festival City Mall
Another one of the biggest malls in Egypt is Cairo Festival City Mall. What is special about Cairo Festival City is that it is the only mall that has an Ikea branch. That is right, the Swedish home furnishing brand Ikea found Cairo Festival to be the perfect home to their one and only branch in Egypt. This mall, unlike the previous two, is located on the other side of Cairo. You can find it in the 5th settlement. You will find a huge Carrefour where you can buy your groceries. One of the special brands in the mall is Debenhams. You will also find your favorite brands like H&M and Centrepoint.
Not all good malls are in 6th of October or 5th settlement. How about City Stars Mall in Nasr City? It is definitely one of the biggest malls in Egypt. We have to warn you, this is one of the most confusing malls in Egypt. Unless you are one of the developers, you can never walk around without a map. The mall has an endless number of floors and is divided to, what they call, phases. When we say huge, we mean it. City Stars Mall has an entire hotel connected to it, Intercontinental City Stars. The mall has 22 screens cinema complexes. Besides, City Stars offer many other services to make your visit smooth and fun like parking spaces, prayer rooms, changing rooms, wheelchairs, a clinic, disabled restrooms, free wifi, ATMs, and many more.
Designopolis might not be one of the biggest malls in Egypt, but it is the biggest space that combines home and office furnishing brands. You can find the mall on Cairo Alex desert road. The mall has art galleries and antique stores as well. Regularly, the mall hosts market to support the local industries.
